GeoDirectory > Set Default Location<\/h4>\n

After you activated your GeoDirectory plugin, the first thing to do is to set a Default Location<\/strong><\/em> to get the plugin to work.<\/p>\n

You have two ways to set the default location:<\/strong><\/p>\n

#1 Enter a city, region and country<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h4>\n

for your default location and then click\u00a0Set Address On Map<\/strong><\/em>, this will set the GPS info as required and move the map marker to the correct location.<\/p>\n

City: <\/b>This refers to city, town etc.<\/p>\n

Region: <\/b>State, Province, etc, depending on your location.<\/p>\n

Then click\u00a0Save<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0changes<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/i> There is no need to enter the latitude or longitude.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/i> Allow your site to connect to the Google database after you click\u00a0Set Address On Map<\/strong><\/em> and before you save your location. This makes sure that your location is entered correctly.<\/span><\/p>\n

#2 You can drag the map marker<\/h4>\n

to the location you wish to use as a default location and we will try to fill in the location details, you should check the location details and make any corrections as required.
Then click\u00a0Save changes<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>to set the default location.<\/p>\n
