When you install the Location Manager Addon<\/a>, you’ll find a number of new GD widgets in the appearance<\/strong><\/em> section of your WP admin area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

  1. For each location (city or town), you can add custom content for both the meta description<\/strong><\/em> and on-page content<\/strong><\/em>.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to\u00a0GeoDirectory > Multilocations > Manage Location<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0and filter for the location.<\/li>\n
  3. Then choose edit<\/strong><\/em>:

  4. Towards the bottom of the editing page, you will find City Meta<\/strong><\/em> and City Description<\/strong><\/em> fields.
    \nEnter your data (you can use HTML in the City Description field):
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  5. The City Meta<\/strong><\/em> data will now be added to the source of the relevant location page:
    \n\"\"<\/li>\n
  6. To add the City Description\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>to the page, add the GD > Location Description<\/strong><\/em> widget to any widget area of the Home (Location) sections.
    \nYou can use %location%<\/strong><\/em> in the title, that will adjust to the location name:

  7. This is how it will show on the location page (The widget will only\u00a0show on location pages that have custom data added):

  8. For regions and countries, you will find the Meta Description<\/strong><\/em> and Location Description<\/strong><\/em> fields at the SEO Settings<\/strong><\/em> tab:

    1. This widget will add a list of links to locations on your pages.

      Options<\/h4>\n

      1. Title:<\/strong> Leave blank if you do not want a heading<\/li>\n
      2. Number of locations:<\/strong> By default all locations will be displayed, unless you add a number here.<\/li>\n
      3. Pagination:<\/li>\n
      4. Don’t filter for current location:<\/strong> by default, the widget will only display links to locations within the selected country or region.
