<\/span>It is recommended to install and activate your theme before setting up the GeoDirectory plugin<\/a>.<\/strong>
The GeoTravel theme is a child theme<\/strong> for the Genesis Framework<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n

GeoTravel installation and activation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Install the\u00a0Genesis Framework theme,<\/a>\u00a0but do not activate it.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Install and activate the GeoDirectory plugin<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Then go to GeoDirectory,<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. and then Extensions\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. and then the Themes tab.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Select the\u00a0Geo Travel – Genesis Child<\/strong>\u00a0theme,\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. and install, and\u00a0then\u00a0activate the theme.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Setting up the homepage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Create a WordPress page at Pages > Add New.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Select that page as the Homepage at Settings > Reading<\/strong>:

    3. Go to Appearance > Widgets<\/strong> and you will see 5 Home page widgets:\u00a0Home Featured Left,\u00a0Home Featured Right,\u00a0Home Top,\u00a0Home Middle and\u00a0Home Bottom.<\/strong>
