Add the field to your post type and a business hours section appears on the add listing form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the field<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Places &gt; Settings &gt; Custom Fields (or the same screen for another post type).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Predefined Fields list, click Business Hours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure the field is set to active, then save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enter the hours on a listing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the add listing form, and when editing a listing in the backend, the Business Hours field starts with a Yes \/ No choice. The days of the week only appear after you choose Yes. Then for each day you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>set the opening and closing time<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>tick Open 24 hours<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>click the plus icon to add a second set of hours, for example for a lunch break<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>remove the hours to mark the day as closed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below the days there is a Timezone setting. With Google Maps it is filled in from the listing&#8217;s location. <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/how-tos\/how-to-set-business-hours-and-time-zone\/\">How to set Business Hours and Time Zone<\/a> explains how the time zone is chosen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want Yes to be selected by default, use the snippet in <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/code-snippets\/how-to-set-business-hours-to-yes-by-default\/\">How to set business hours to YES by default<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Show the hours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The hours show on the listing details page by default. In your own templates, use <code>&#091;gd_post_meta key=&#039;business_hours&#039;&#093;<\/code>.
