When this is on, logged out visitors see a &#8220;Your Details&#8221; section with Name and Email at the top of the add listing form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turn it on<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In WordPress, go to Settings &gt; General and tick &#8220;Anyone can register&#8221; next to Membership. GeoDirectory only shows the fields when registration is open.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; General and click Show Advanced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under Listing Settings, tick &#8220;Allow posting without logging in?&#8221; and save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the listing is submitted, GeoDirectory creates a new user with that name and email and makes them the listing owner. WordPress then sends its usual new account email so they can set a password and come back to edit or pay for the listing. If the email already belongs to an account, the listing is added to that account instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On WP Engine hosting this setting needs an extra step, see <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/troubleshooting\/how-to-allow-posting-without-logging-in-when-using-wp-engine-hosting\/\">allow posting without logging in on WP Engine<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Show login and register links on the form instead<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you would rather have people register before they post, keep the setting off. The GD &gt; Add Listing block has a &#8220;Show the login and register links if required&#8221; option (<code>show_login=&quot;1&quot;<\/code>) that shows Login and Register buttons to logged out visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With UsersWP, you can send new users straight back to the form after they sign up.
