If clicking a listing takes you back to the list of all listings, shows a blank page or gives a 404, work through these checks in order and test the listing after each one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Go to Settings > Permalinks in WordPress and click Save Changes without changing anything. This rebuilds the rewrite rules GeoDirectory uses for listing URLs. The GeoDirectory permalinks section is on the same screen, so if you changed the listing URL structure recently, check it there too. See Permalink Settings<\/a> for what each option does.<\/p>\n\n\n\n GeoDirectory builds every listing page from a template page. Go to GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Pages and look at the Details Page setting. It should point to a published page that still has its GeoDirectory content. If the page was deleted, emptied or changed to a draft, restore it or choose another page and save.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each post type can also have its own details page. Go to Places > Settings > General, click Show Advanced and check Details Page under Template Page Settings. Leave it on Default unless you made a separate template for that post type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Some themes replace the single post template in a way that stops GeoDirectory from loading the listing. Switch to a default WordPress theme such as Twenty Twenty-Four for a moment and open the listing again. If it shows, the theme is the cause. If you use a child theme, make sure its parent theme is the current version, because an old parent theme can break listing pages and sidebars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pending and draft listings are only visible to their author and to admins.
