Most of the time the page is an old cached copy, or another script stopped the map from starting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check the Maps API setting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; General and click Show Advanced.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In Map Settings, find Maps API.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose OpenStreetMap API to load only OpenStreetMap. Automatic tries Google first and falls back to OpenStreetMap if Google cannot load. Google Maps API loads only Google.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Clear every cache<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A page cached before you changed the setting still asks for the old map library. Clear your caching plugin, any server or host cache, your CDN and your browser cache, then reload. If GD Booster from GeoDirectory v1 is still installed, remove it. See <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/caching\/geodirectory-and-caching-compatibility\/\">GeoDirectory and caching compatibility<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Look for script problems<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Optimisation plugins that combine, delay or defer JavaScript can load the map scripts in the wrong order. Turn those options off to test, then exclude the GeoDirectory scripts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the browser console. A JavaScript error from another plugin or the theme can stop the map. Deactivate plugins one at a time to find it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cookie consent plugins can block map scripts until the visitor accepts.
