You do not need to edit any theme template files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add them to the details page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; General &gt; Pages and open the page set as <em>Details Page<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a GD &gt; Post Address block. Use the <em>Address template<\/em> option if you want to change which parts show or where the line breaks go, and tick the map link option if you want it to open Google Maps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add a GD &gt; Post Meta block and set its key to your phone field (it is called <code>phone<\/code> on a standard install).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update the page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As shortcodes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><code class=\"language-markup\">&#091;gd_post_address show=&#039;icon-label-value&#039;&#093;\n&#091;gd_post_meta key=&#039;phone&#039; show=&#039;icon-label-value&#039;&#093;<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Phone fields are output as a <code>tel:<\/code> link, so tapping the number on a phone opens the dialler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Show them in the sidebar instead<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each custom field has a <em>Show in extra output location<\/em> setting at Places &gt; Settings &gt; Custom Fields. Tick <em>Details page sidebar<\/em> for the address and phone fields, then add the GD &gt; Output Location widget (location set to detail) to the sidebar your theme uses on listing pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They still do not show<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the listing actually has a phone number saved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check the field is active in the custom field settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look for custom CSS in your theme or child theme that hides GeoDirectory address or contact classes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/core-widgets\/gd-post-address\/\">GD &gt; Post Address<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/core-widgets\/gd-post-meta\/\">GD &gt; Post Meta<\/a> for every option.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GeoDirectory can show the address and phone number anywhere on the listing page with two blocks: GD &gt; Post Address and GD &gt; Post Meta.
