You do not need to download a language file from us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Settings &gt; General in WordPress and set Site Language to Espa&ntilde;ol (or the Spanish variant you need).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to Dashboard &gt; Updates. If WordPress lists translation updates, click Update Translations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open a GeoDirectory page and check the text.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any text that has not been translated yet stays in English. You can see how complete the Spanish translation is, and help finish it, on the <a href=\"https:\/\/translate.wordpress.org\/projects\/wp-plugins\/geodirectory\/\">GeoDirectory project at translate.wordpress.org<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/how-tos\/how-to-contribute-translations\/\">How to Contribute Translations<\/a> explains how to suggest strings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using your own translation file<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To use your own wording, save your translation as a .mo file here (change <code>es_ES<\/code> to your locale):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><code class=\"language-markup\">wp-content\/languages\/geodirectory\/geodirectory-es_ES.mo<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GeoDirectory loads this file before the translation WordPress downloaded, so your strings take priority.
