Turn on the WordPress debug log by adding these lines to <code>wp-config.php<\/code>, above the line that says to stop editing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><code class=\"language-php\">define( &#039;WP_DEBUG&#039;, true );\ndefine( &#039;WP_DEBUG_LOG&#039;, true );\ndefine( &#039;WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY&#039;, false );<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reload the page, then open <code>wp-content\/debug.log<\/code>. The error names the plugin or theme file at fault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A common cause is GeoDirectory core and its add-ons being out of step after a partial update. Update core and every GeoDirectory add-on together, then check again. Turn the debug log off when you&#8217;re done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Listing pages show 404 Page Not Found<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Go to Settings &gt; Permalinks in WordPress and click Save Changes, which rebuilds the rewrite rules. If that doesn&#8217;t fix it, see <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/troubleshooting\/why-do-i-get-a-404-page-not-found-error\/\">Why do I get a 404 Page Not Found error?<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Listings are missing from lists<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Status: only published listings show. Pending, draft and expired listings are hidden. See <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/explore-settings\/understanding-expired-and-closed-listings\/\">Understanding &#8220;Expired&#8221; and &#8220;Closed&#8221; Listings<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Category: category pages list listings by category, so every listing needs at least one category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Location: with Location Manager, lists follow the visitor&#8217;s current location, so listings in other cities won&#8217;t show there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Templates: the page set as Archive page in GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; General &gt; Pages must still contain the GD &gt; Loop block.
