When a listing is saved, the first image in that field also becomes the WordPress featured image, which themes use in their headers and thumbnails. If the featured image isn&#8217;t showing, check the points below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the image to the listing&#8217;s Images field<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upload images in the Images field of the listing, on the add listing form or on the listing&#8217;s edit screen in wp-admin. The first image is used as the featured image. An image set only in the WordPress Featured image box is not part of the listing&#8217;s images, so GeoDirectory blocks won&#8217;t show it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check the theme featured image setting<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; Design &gt; Details has &#8220;Disable theme feature image output?&#8221;. When it is ticked, GeoDirectory hides the featured image from your theme on listing detail pages, which stops the same picture showing twice when the Details page template already has an image slider. If you want your theme to show the listing image, for example as a header, untick it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Check the Details page template<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The images on a listing page come from the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/core-widgets\/gd-post-images\/\">GD &gt; Post Images<\/a> block in the Details page template (set in GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; General &gt; Pages). If the block was removed, add it back. Its Image types setting decides whether it shows the listing photos, the logo or both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Listings without images<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When a listing has no images, GeoDirectory shows a fallback instead: the logo, a category default image, the post type default image or the listing default image, in that order. If you see an image you didn&#8217;t expect, it is usually one of these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you use a GeoDirectory theme such as Supreme Directory, keep the theme updated along with the plugin, as older theme versions may not match the current plugin.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>GeoDirectory keeps listing images in its own Images field.
