The GD > Listings block can show listings as a carousel, so you do not need a separate slider plugin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Add the GD > Listings block to a page (or use the [gd_listings]<\/code> shortcode).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Set the post type, categories, sort order and Posts to show as usual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Set Layout to the number of listings you want side by side on each slide.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Open the Carousel settings and set With Carousel to Yes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Optionally turn on With Indicators and With Controls, set the Interval in seconds (0 stops it moving on its own), and choose the Autoplay behaviour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Save the page and check it on desktop and mobile.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The carousel options appear when GeoDirectory uses the Bootstrap design style, which is the default. You can check this in GeoDirectory > Settings > General > Developer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The same block can filter what goes into the carousel. For example, “Show featured only?” makes a featured listings slider, and “Filter listings related to” shows listings from the same category on a detail page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    GeoDirectory listings are normal WordPress posts of a custom post type, so a third party slider that lets you choose a post type can show them too. It will not know about GeoDirectory fields such as ratings or addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
