It does not sell vouchers or coupons: there is no deal checkout, redemption code or purchase tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add the Special Offers field<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Places > Settings > Custom Fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the predefined Special Offers field. Keep its key as <code>special_offers<\/code>, because other GeoDirectory features look for that key.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save. Listing owners can now enter their offer when they add or edit a listing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the Pricing Manager add-on you can make the field available only on some price packages, so offers are something owners pay for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Make a deals page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create a page and add the GD > Listings block with &#8220;Only show listings with special offers?&#8221; ticked:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><code class=\"language-markup\">&#091;gd_listings post_type=&quot;gd_place&quot; show_special_only=&quot;1&quot; post_limit=&quot;12&quot;&#093;<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the Location Manager add-on, tick &#8220;Enable location filter?&#8221; as well to show offers in the visitor&#8217;s current location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Highlight listings with an offer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use GD > Post Badge to show a label on listings that have an offer, on archive cards or the detail page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-prismatic-blocks\"><code class=\"language-markup\">&#091;gd_post_badge key=&quot;special_offers&quot; condition=&quot;is_not_empty&quot; badge=&quot;Special offer&quot;&#093;<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you need to sell deals and handle redemption, you would need a separate e-commerce or coupon plugin alongside GeoDirectory.
