Multiple categories can be set, if multiple are selected then a default can also be selected (<em>Hotels is set as the default below<\/em>). The default category can be used for the URL slug and determines the map icon used.\n<p>\n\t\t <img width=\"594\" height=\"119\" src=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-x4jtt6pn1B.png\" class=\"attachment-large size-large\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-x4jtt6pn1B.png 594w, https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-x4jtt6pn1B-300x60.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 594px) 100vw, 594px\" \/>\n\t<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p> <strong>Address<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; There are several convenient ways to set the address for a listing. <br \/> <strong>Doing one of the following will auto set the correct info for all the address fields.<br \/>\n\t\t <\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drag the map to the desired position.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Drag the map marker to the desired position.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the address and then click <em>Set Address on map<\/em>. This will try to set the correct map position.<\/li>\n<li>Clicking the <em>My Location<\/em> icon in the street address field will work if you are currently at the location you wish to add.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n\t\t <img width=\"794\" height=\"545\" src=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-ldKHjU9L5Y.png\" class=\"attachment-large size-large\" alt=\"\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-ldKHjU9L5Y.png 794w, https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-ldKHjU9L5Y-300x206.png 300w, https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-ldKHjU9L5Y-768x527.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 794px) 100vw, 794px\" \/>\n\t<\/p>\n<section class=\"alert alert-info\">\n\tThe <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/downloads\/location-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\">Location Manager extension<\/a> is required to add listings outside of the default location.<br \/>\n\t<\/section>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Images<\/strong> &#8211; Although not a required field, <strong>there are some points to mention<\/strong>.\n<ul>\n<li>The first image added will be used as the featured image.<\/li>\n<li>Image title and caption can be set for better SEO &amp; accessibility performance.<\/li>\n<li>Images can be dragged and dropped to set the order required.<\/li>\n<li>If no image is set then many different types of fallback images can be set, these include; Site default image, CPT default image, Category default image or even a screenshot of a website URL can be auto-generated to show.
