Plus, lists can be set to <strong>Private <\/strong>or <strong>Public, <\/strong>and other users can browse Public Lists, just like Yelp. As the name suggests, <strong>only public lists are visible to all users.<\/strong><\/p>\n<section class=\"alert alert-success\">\n\t For a full list of List Manager features, read the details on the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/downloads\/list-manager\/\">product page<\/a>.<\/section>\n<h2>Installation<\/h2>\n<p>\n\t The <strong>first step<\/strong>&nbsp;(if you haven&#8217;t done so already) is to <strong>install the List Manager extension.<\/strong> This can be done by following our guide on <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/category\/installing-extensions\/\">how to install an extension.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Step 1 &#8211; Setting Things Up<\/h2>\n<p>\n\t Before going any further, you need to install and activate another WordPress plugin &#8212; <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/posts-to-posts\/\">Posts 2 Posts<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<section class=\"alert alert-warning dashed\">\n\t Posts 2 Posts allows you to create many-to-many relationships between posts of any type: post, page, CPT etc. <strong> We have taken over the security and maintenance of this free WP plugin, so have no worries about obsolete code or lack of support in future.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/section>\n<p>\n\t Thereafter, once you have <strong>successfully activated both Posts 2 Posts plugin and List Manager extension, <\/strong>you will find a new CPT added to your WordPress installation &#8212; <strong>Lists.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\t There are no specific settings to be altered for <strong>List Manager extension. <\/strong>Instead, any new lists that are created will show up under the Lists CPT. All the Public lists can be accessed at the mysite.com\/lists\/ URL.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 &#8211; Widgets, Shortcodes and Blocks<\/h2>\n<p>\n\t List Manager extension comes with three widgets, but you only need to add one to the GD Details page. The others are used on the list manager archive page to show a list of listings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Open the GD Details or GD Archive template<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Add&nbsp;<\/strong><strong style=\"background-color: initial;\">GD &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/list-manager\/gd-list-save\/\">List Save<\/a> and save<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section class=\"alert alert-success dashed\">\n\t All Widgets come as Widgets, Shortcodes or Blocks.
