However, the issue with this is that <strong>you need lots of settings<\/strong>! Over the last decade of building plugins, <strong>we learned that t<\/strong><strong>oo many settings are intimidating<\/strong><strong> for<\/strong> <strong>new users<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<section class=\"alert alert-info\">\n\tIf a setting is not likely to ever be used by the majority of users then it becomes an Advanced Setting.<\/section>\n<p>\n\tThroughout GeoDirectory you will find <strong>advanced settings buttons<\/strong> on settings pages, tab builders and widgets that <strong>reveal more settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>Disable Advanced Settings<\/h2>\n<p>If you prefer to show advanced settings all the time then you can disable it in the majority of places by visiting <br \/><strong>GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; General &gt; Developer &gt;&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Advanced settings<\/strong> (untick)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Why Advanced Settings?
