You&#8217;ll need to set up things like the Google Maps API, the City, or the locations in which your Directory operates. Listing types, categories, and custom fields. Prices for premium listings if needed and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can skip this step if you already have GeoDirectory installed and configured on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step2\">Step 2 Install and configure WooCommerce.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-FyyB2CkHHK-1024x519.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second step consists in setting up the store details such as Industry, product types, and product categories. Set up payments, taxes, and shipping rules if needed, among other things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can skip this step if you already have WooCommerce installed and configured on your website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 Install and configure MultiVendorX. Things like the percentage of the site admin&#8217;s commission on sales. How the payments are disbursed to vendors. The vendors&#8217; capabilities, and more. But has been mainly tested for&nbsp;MultiVendorX, and this doc is about using it with&nbsp;MultiVendorX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4&nbsp;Install and configure GeoMarketplace.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-4BJXfyibeR-1024x327.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, we install GeoMarketplace, which allows connecting a Marketplace vendor with a Listings owner so that he can associate his products with his listings. Here you select which GeoDirectory custom post types have the Shop activated.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, go to the Custom Post Type settings and add the shop tab. Example: <strong>Restaurants&nbsp;<\/strong>&gt;&gt;&nbsp;<b style=\"background-color: initial;\">Settings<\/b> &gt;&gt; <b style=\"background-color: initial;\">Tabs <\/b>and insert the Shop tab in the listing details using the tab Builder. Add product details such as: Product Title,\u00a0Product short description,\u00a0Product full description, Product Image, Product Gallery,\u00a0Regular price ($),\u00a0Sale price ($) if needed, and select if the product is virtual or downloadable (or leave these options blank for physical products). Here the vendor can also set up the inventory, the shipping fees, select products to upsell or cross-sell, create product variations, and more.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/file-WvRr9AHGsn-1008x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>4 Click the GeoDirectory Tab and select the listing for which the product is created. The site admin can set a&nbsp;Disbursement Threshold,&nbsp;Withdrawal Locking Period and many other options.
