\n\t Franchise Manager extension lets you specify listings as “main listing”, and users can then add branch listings for the same. <\/p>\n

\n\t Make sure you have enabled Franchise Manager support for the CPT to which you are intending to add main and branch listings. For details, refer to our Setup Guide<\/a>. <\/section>\n

Adding a Main Listing<\/h2>\n

\n\t When adding a new CPT, you will notice two extra fields:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Has Franchise? – <\/strong>If checked, the listing becomes a main listing. <\/li>\n
  • Lock Franchise Fields – <\/strong>You can specify certain custom fields that will be locked. Any fields that are specified as locked are not editable in branch listings. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n\t Once saved, the listing becomes a main listing <\/strong>and new branch listings can then be added to it. <\/p>\n

    Adding a Branch Listing<\/h2>\n
    \n\t Branch listings can only be added:- <\/p>\n
      \n
    • from the frontend <\/li>\n
    • by the same user that added the main listing. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/section>\n

      \n\tFor every listing that is marked as main listing,<\/strong> you can add the “Add Franchise” <\/strong>link to the frontend using the GD > Author Actions <\/strong>(widget, shortcode or block). \n\t<\/dd>\n

      \t\t It is recommended to add GD > Author Actions to the sidebar, and display it only on Listing Details page.

      \n\tUpon clicking the “Add Franchise” <\/strong>link, you will be presented with the frontend Add a Listing <\/strong>form. This is where you can add the branch listing. \n\t<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n
