Overview<\/h2>\n

\n\t The Embeddable Ratings Badge<\/a> extension allows listing owners to create a widget to display their live ratings from your directory on their website. This is fairly identical to the TripAdvisor rating widget, albeit a lot cooler. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe embed widget is highly customizable. <\/strong>You can control every feature of the badge<\/strong> and make it available to the user to customize or restrict it. For example, you can remove the color change options<\/strong> so that all embeds match your branding colors. Here is how the Customizer looks by default: <\/p>\n

Installation<\/h2>\n

\n\t The first step<\/strong> if you haven’t already, is to install the Embeddable Ratings Badge extension.<\/strong> This can be done by following our guides on how to install an extension.<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 1 – Settings<\/h2>\n

Once installed and activated<\/strong>, you can find the Embeddable Ratings Badge settings at GeoDirectory > Settings > Embed<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\n\tEmbeddable Ratings Badge extension comes with sane defaults<\/strong> meaning the default settings will work for the majority of users<\/strong>, however, there are many customizations that can be done via the settings, for a full explanation of what all the settings do please see our settings overview.<\/a><\/section>\n

Step 2 – Adding the Widget<\/h2>\n
\n Next, you will need to add the Click to Embed <\/strong>badge on the frontend. You can use our GD > Embed <\/strong>widget to add a claim submission button to any widget area, or within content areas as a shortcode or block. To do so, please see the guide about GD Embed widget.<\/a> \n<\/div>\n
