{"id":864,"date":"2025-03-24T14:27:53","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T14:27:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/dynamic-user-emails-setup-guide\/"},"modified":"2025-04-03T15:24:13","modified_gmt":"2025-04-03T14:24:13","slug":"dynamic-user-emails-setup-guide","status":"publish","type":"gd_place","link":"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/dynamic-user-emails\/dynamic-user-emails-setup-guide\/","title":{"rendered":"Dynamic User Emails &#8211; Setup Guide"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"alert alert-info\">\n\t This setup guide will run through a typical setup of the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/downloads\/dynamic-user-emails\/\">Dyanmic User Emails<\/a> extension from start to finish.<\/section>\n<h2>Overview<\/h2>\n<p>\n\tThe Dynamic User Emails extension lets you set up dynamic emails for certain user actions such as user registration, adding or editing listings, and add a new review\/comment.&nbsp; Another ability is to be able to instantly email all listing owners or filter that list to be able to email only listing owners from an exhaustive list of filters based on their listings.<\/p>\n<section class=\"alert alert-info\">\n\t For a&nbsp; <strong>complete list of features, see<\/strong> the <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/downloads\/dynamic-user-emails\/\">Dynamic User Emails<\/a> product page.<\/section>\n<h2>Installation<\/h2>\n<p>\n\t The&nbsp; <strong>first step,<\/strong> if you haven&#8217;t already, is to <strong>install the Dynamic User Emails extension.<\/strong> This can be done by following our guides on <a href=\"https:\/\/wpgeodirectory.com\/documentation\/article\/category\/installing-extensions\/\">how to install an extension.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Settings<\/h2>\n<p> <strong>Once installed and activated<\/strong>, you can find the settings at <strong>GeoDirectory &gt; Settings &gt; Dynamic Emails.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\tUnder the settings tab, you have the option to disable the emails from sending if you need to temporarily disable them.<\/p>\n<h3>Email Lists<\/h3>\n<p>\n\tThis is where you view your current saved emails and create new ones. By default, you will see an example email template, which is set as pending review and not yet active.
