\n\tYou can use Yoast to manage meta for GeoDirectory listings and insert GeoDirectory custom field data and GeoDirectory variables into Yoast Settings.<\/p>\n

\n\t By default, GeoDirectory can handle its own meta data for pages and CPTs using the GeoDirectory  Titles & Metas settings<\/a>. <\/section>\n

Use Yoast with GeoDirectory<\/h2>\n
\n\tIf you have Yoast SEO installed, Yoast will automatically take over meta data from GeoDirectory. \n<\/div>\n
\n\tGeoDirectory will still create Titles for GD Pages though, so you will continue to use the Titles & Metas settings<\/a> but only for titles. You can know that is working because there will be a new option in the GD Titles and Metas settings to disable Yoast overwrites for GD meta.\n<\/div>\n

Custom Fields<\/h2>\n

\n\tYou can use GeoDirectory Custom Fields in the Yoast search appearance settings for the Single page templates.<\/p>\n

\t\t To render GeoDirectory custom fields the _gd__ prefix is necessary.<\/p>\n

\n\tYou can use GeoDirectory variables in Yoast search appearance settings. <\/p>\n

\n\tGeoDirectory variables, the complete list, can be found in your site on the Titles & Metas settings<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

\t\tTo render GeoDirectory variable in Yoast meta, add an additional underscore _ prefix for the variable.<\/p>\n

Yoast SEO Global Settings<\/h2>\n
\n To manage the meta data for GeoDirectory content types using Yoast SEO plugin, you will need to go to the Yoast settings section, located at:   \n<\/div>\n
SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types<\/strong> <\/div>\n
