Every single aspect of my site which I have fiddled and tweaked for over a year with is now ruined, 100% fucked.

If I didn’t have so much data to transfer (still an option if I can find one), I would be off the dog’s dinner of a plugin this evening.

I’m really sorry for the issues that you are experiencing, however when a major update like V2 is released (brand new software), some hick ups should be expected.

However we started warning people about this major updates 15 months ago!

We send out almost a blog post per month to provide updates and we sent several newsletters to warn as many as possible that manual actions where required.

We even published a video of a full conversion and provided a checklist of things to do: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/upgrade-from-gdv1/

We also always suggested to work on a staging website to avoid similar problems.

Performing a plugin update like this on a live site without doing testing on a staging website is like trying to change a wheel on a running car.

That said, if you provide a list of things that you are having trouble with, we’ll try to help you with each of them.
