Have another question for you. I am trying to find the best way to tackle this but don’t want to start tinkering with the search query itself so that I will be able to continue to update without any issues.

My client needs the ability for some search options to be an OR search rather than the default AND.

For Example:

Categories.
————-

The client would like the user to be able to search a location for multiple kinds of categories at once. (Jet Skiing, Hang Gliding, Bush Walk… ect)

An easy way to see all the different things they are interested in that are available at a particular location.

Rather than having to perform a search for each one of the events they are interested in.

I understand that the default is an AND search which makes sense for facilities and my client would still like some of the search filters to be AND such as:

Facilities:
———–
If the user has special requirements and wants to only find a place that meets all of them (non-smoking, pet-friendly, pool…)

It would be great if within the advance search settings there was an option to define whether a field is queried by AND or OR.

Maybe there is an easier way to do this, would really appreciate any advice.
