Hi,
I have updated to the latest Geodirectory version. I notice something strange and in same time important.
Before Update I had a custom post with category and subcategory which worked fine, also now when I add a listing , I choose the parent category and after the subcategory and listing is added to that subcategory.
But after update I created a new custom post and each time I add a new listing and choose first the parent category and then the subcategory the listing is added to the parent category only!!!! To have it added to subcategory one is obliged to choose ” Set “subcategory-Name” as default category ” otherwise it adds it to the parent category only. It is confusing for user, if someone tries to choose a subcategory he should not need to choose the ” Set “subcategory-Name” as default category ” radio ..

Hello Beldox, this issue is known and already posted on the to-do list, it might be a bug in this release, we’ll keep you posted about this.

Any updated about this issue? without bug fixing this it is not possible to work and add listing on the site..

This should be fixed and, if there aren’t any “accidents”, the update will be released on tuesday, along with some other features like new shortcodes.

Thank you for releasing the new updates. I have instaled and tested the latest Geodirectory but the problem I mentioned above is still there.

Tested and could not recreate, i suspect your price package has the category limit set to either 0 or 1, please check.
