i translated the country name Germany to Deutschland at the file geodirectory-de_DE.mo. After this no one by the frontend submitted city is preselected at wp-admin/post.php?post=XXX&action=edit for editing the entry.

After killing the translation in geodirectory-de_DE.mo and the system works with Germany the same city name which wasn’t preselected is now selected.
Magic!

Anyone here with a solution?
best regards
rhino

If you still have problems, can you post your URL and admin details please in a private message (after you translated Germany in the PO file again). Then we will have a look for you.

The relevant tip was to go AFTER translating at the mo-File to the GD-Setup and update the country there.
