I cannot see any Author or Blog pages in my directory and do not know what their purpose is for the directory subscribers. Can you please tell me the best way to set up the blog and author pages and their main purpose? Thanks.

GD Blog Details is a page for an individual post and to add a post you would go WP admin > Posts > Add New

GD Blog Listing is a page for a number of posts

GD Page Details is a normal WP page and to add a page you would go WP admin > Pages > Add New

The GD Author page is where your users can review their favorites, edit their listings etc.

It will list their favourite listings and/or events, and the listings they have submitted themselves.”

When I log in as a user I cannot see the Author page, so I am missing a setting somewhere. Can you help. Thanks.

If you add the login widget, then the “my favorites” and “my listings” will take you to the relevant author page.

The “Add listing” link (and other links) is controlled from GD > Design > Navigation > Show listing link in user dashboard
