wp-content/plugins/buddypress/buddypress.pot
and some of it will be in
wp-content/plugins/geodir_buddypress/gdbuddypress-languages/gdbuddypress-en_US.po

You will have to save them as follows:
wp-content/languages/plugins/buddypress-en_US.mo
and
wp-content/languages/gdbuddypress/gdbuddypress-en_US.mo

I translated “Listings” for so you see it works.
Can you translate the rest?

Your buddypress is translating OK, except for the menu, like Activity, Groups etc.
That might be a GD bug that stops the translation of that particular element.

Can you also post your WP admin details and I’ll escalate this for you.

if you selected a different language in Settings >> General, than you should simply go to Dashboard Update >> update translation (down at the bottom below plugins and themes) and buddypress will be automatically updated.

Just tested here change language to Italian and works as expected: http://dropct.com/enfold/members/admin/
