We are trying to create a golf directory, I have downloaded the sample csv changed the names to golf courses addresses etc and no matter what I try keep getting the error not a valid csv file.

I even downloaded the sample csv and tried to upload it without any changes and still not working.

Using open office calc to save the file with correct deliminators, custom post type is in wp admin for gd_places. post tag used is listed in post tags, and have followed the instructions here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#csv

Still not working, can you please help, thanks

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

You should not enter any post_id, they will lead to conflicts.
I also think that the apostrophe in one of the addresses needs to be changed to an HTML character: http://www.ascii.cl/htmlcodes.htm

Let us know how you went.

other than what Guust told you, gd_places in post_type should be gd_place.

Thanks
