By default on the listing Grid (in the Popular post View Widget and on the Search List page ) I can see:
-Title
-Rating stars
-Comments link
-Add to Favorites Link
– Pinpoint (only Search)

I would like to add Category name.
Is it possible?

You can add most custom field there, but not the category.

So I can use the new custom Field and display it there and I will be half way home 🙂
Then maybe in DB I can create the trigger to populate this Field with the Category description. – It might work.

You can find it in geodirectory-templates/listing-listview.php and you can move a copy of that file in your active theme in a folder named geodirectory.
