    Hi guys,

I’ve changed my permalinks (tags/category) to (activity/type) but the changes don’t seem to be taking effect on the front end.

I’ve disabled all caching and minification.

    Trying to change this:
    http://www.rinktime.com/rinks/tags/hockey-tournaments/
    to this:
    http://www.rinktime.com/rinks/activity/hockey-tournaments/

Let me know if you have any thoughts as to what I’m doing wrong…

    Thanks,
    John

That only works for WP normal posts and tags.

I am not sure how you would change that for “tags” of GD. I’ll get Paolo for you.

Currently there is no option to do that…
    Thanks

    Thanks Paolo,

I want to confirm that we are talking about the same thing.

Can you confirm that you hardcoded the tag/category in WPGeo so that they would “not use” the default or custom settings in: WP > Settings > Permalinks??

Because I’ve changed the WordPress permalinks settings and they aren’t being acknowledged. I only ask because I don’t know why you’d change the scope of how WordPress works at its core.

    Hi,

GeoDirectory uses custom post types and custom taxonomies. As Guust said, WordPress settings are for post tags and categories.

Not for any custom taxonomy created by plugins.

There is probably a way programatically to change that, but no options.

I’ll ask Stiofan to let us know if there is an easy way.

    Thx

Got it – cool. I guess this might fall under a feature request but it’d be super cool then if this could be manipulated via the CPT editor on a CPT basis. SEO! 😉 I have too many feature requests…ha
