I need a little help to understand and clarify the differences between:

1. Feature category (found on categories while add listings)
2. Featured price settings (featured banner symbol when this listing price is selected)

My problem is, on add listings, there you find the category “feature” to as a checkbox to be used while add listings. What happens if a user check this feature category?

I do not want to enable a user to set e.g. his standard listing as a feature listing with a banner displayed. This should only be given, if he use the right price category for his listing.

Please explain, for what this “feature category” is used while add listings.

Thanks in forward,
Alex

#1 Just a name, means nothing in regards to being featured or the order of listings. (you can easily delete it)
#2 For the normal category sort order this will list all featured listings at the top then followed by normal listings, it’s a way to promote a listing, you can also use it in widgets to show only featured listings for example.

Thanks,

Stiofan
