everything is feasible, but CSS is something so easy to learn if you use a tool like firebug (as Duster said in his post about his new website) that is a shame for anyone wanting to create websites, not taking 1 day or so to learn and start practicing…

It will make your work evolve so much faster.

To pass you the css for your categories I need to see the website, so please pass me the link.

U may set Category display type to ‘Ajax Chained’ to avoid that long list. For this plz go to Place settings tab in back end then Custom Fields and then expend the Category(Taxonomy) field and option for Category Display type.
