I was trying to upload a CSV file when I noticed the import status bar saying that I had TWICE as many records as the CSV file REALLY contains – the good part is that I aborted to upload so I do not have any duplicates.

I do need to upload lots of files – when is this issue going to be fixed or is this the first time you have heard of this (which I would doubt)? This is really a pretty big problem.

I an running GD 1.3.9 and have NOT upgraded because I have seen posts with duplicate problems what seems to be a whole host of updating issues so I was waiting until these were resolved.

Is this duplicate record upload related to the “duplicate” issue that I have seen cross my email box?

I fixed the comma in N17 – however that had did not fix the problem. GD uploader still saying there are 90 records when there are really 45.

What is this about? Does it have something to do with me aborting the upload in process???

Also I cannot undo this – meaning I try to erase everything up to the “Yelp…” with my delete button but no joy with that either.

I see 2 things that could be the source of the problem.

1 the & symbol used in category name. I would try to change it to & (html code for &)

2 dots in your file name. Try to remane it to something like :

Yelp-Play-4-9-2015-Play-Upload-GD-Format1.csv

If the above doesn’t help, please provide url and wp admin credentials and I will have a look.
