new install, all the plugins, including multilocations

I added a map to my home page using shortcodes (home page is not GD home page)

I set default location to Rugby, North Dakota (geographic center of N.America)

I added dummy data that uses rugby

things working fine. map displayed Rugby upon visit to home page.

I also added a sample test places listing in Sitka Alaska

Now when I go to the site the map is defaulting to Jaspar National Park in the middle of British Columbia (which is a great place to visit and I actually camped where the map was zoomed into about 15 years ago!! that is the ghost part)

is the system placing the map between these two locations, Sitka and Rugby? Does it sort of do some algorithm averaging locations?
