Not sure if this belongs under Multi Location or core but I want to know how I can stop the previous location that someone has searched under being stored past the point of returning the results for that search. For example, I have a menu item with the following link

?geodir_search=1&stype=gd_eatery&s=hotel+restaurants which should return all hotel restaurant listings contained on the site.

This works fine when first loading the site but as soon as I have done a search for an area that doesn’t contain any hotel restaurants then returning to the url above no longer returns any results until I clear all browsing data and reload the site.
Is there any way to prevent this? Or a parameter I can use in the query string to return all results independent of location?

Hope I have explained properly 🙂

Kind Regards

Mike

Can you give us a full URL of the searches you’re doing?
Is your location switcher telling you that you actually changed location after the first search?

Thanks for your reply 🙂 I think I have resolved the issue above now. Although I would still like to know if there is a reference somewhere to parameters that can be used in the query string for returning search results if I am adding static links into menu items?
