1077 Ashford Avenue
00907

My default city is set to “San Juan”, country “Puerto Rico”. Region is also “Puerto Rico” since that is meaningless, but it says it is required.

I get “Please choose any address of the (San Juan) city only.” 8 times and can never enter any places. It seems to be working in US destinations.

This is on my test site.

Any suggestions?

If I enable multi-locations, it seems to help, but the “Region” is pretty much not needed – just city and State or country. Perhaps I am missing something key here, but the three non-test sites that are in the US don’t seem to be doing this.

I don’t see how to include the entire area yet – e.g. I don’t want just San Juan, but the entire island.

Maybe I am missing something between GeoTheme and GeoDirectory. 😉

I can’t tell if WPGeoDirectory is multi-site compatible yet. Anyone know?

You can always use the map to pinpoint the address and it then does the reverse lookup to the address.

So if you want to be able to add sites everywhere, then you need enable multi city, region, country.
You would only disable any of these, if you want to have a site only for one country, or for one region, or for one city.

What I’m trying to do on one site (vs the others that are city based) is have the directory for an island country that is not large. So, it doesn’t really need a region, just a city and country.

I’ve reinstalled the plugin to give it a shot again for this one site. I haven’t updated all the older city-based ones to WPGD yet.

🙂
