I’m getting an error when I try to put the pin on the maps when adding a place.
Almost all addresses the site can’t find. =/

the standard Address here is “Street Name, number, neighbourhood, city, state” like in the image: “Rua Capitão Mexias, 21, Centro, Mendes, RJ” but you can see the error on the pop-up box.

is there any thing to do?

Hi,

apparently google maps API doesn’t recognize it as a correct address for some reason and I think it doesn’t take Sul FLuminense as good for the region field.

When I face a problem like this, this is what I do.

I leave country, region and city blank. I add the entire address in the address field, with country name and click on set address on map.

And as soon the lat and lng are calculated and locked in, and the API has sorted the region and city, you can adjust the street address to whatever you like, but do NOT click on Set address again.

Together with Paolo’s suggestion that is how I have been fixing difficult locations or correcting users incorrect locations.

got it this way, first the address and set on map; and then country, region and city and do not set again
