GD Places Posting without logging in

    Hi,

    I think “Posting without logging in” was working yesterday (or before the new update V2.0.0.3 today).
    It is however not working now, meaning user must register to post.

    May be something happened between V2.0.0.2 and V2.0.0.3. ??
    I am confused now.

    User registration must be enabled.

    The bug was that before, if you had registration disabled, you could see the add listing form. However it didn’t work correctly, because a post must have an author.

    With the option enabled to allow guest posting, 2 fields are added to the form for username and email so that a user is created on the fly and the password sent via email.

    According to your blog (https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-v2-first-beta-release/) the add listing form should be visible to the GUEST.

    I tested V2.0.0.4.
    When the check box “Allow posting without logging in?” in the GeoGirectory > settings > general is UNCHECKED you get a login window where you need your logging in credentials.
    When the check box is CHECKED you get a window displaying the message “User registration is disabled, please login to continue.”
    So, whether the check box is CHECKED or not still you don’t see the add listing form as shown in your
    blog (https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-v2-first-beta-release/).

    Hello,

    testing on 2.0.0.4 when “anyone can register” and “nonlogged in post” is allowed then add listing is visible in incognito to anon user.

    “anyone is allowed to register” is required for this feature.
