GD Search not working in version 2 upgrade

    Hi,

    We upgraded to GD v2 today, post-upgrade the search isn’t working.
    Once we input the search term and click on search, it directs me to a page with some content from the text editor of the same page(screenshot attached).

    Need your quick support!

    I see you are using BB lite on the search page.
    You will need to use an advanced themer on the search page.
    Try setting it back to the classical editor and restoring the default content.

    Hello,

    Try …. restoring the default content.

    The default contents are shown in

    GD – Settings – Pages – Search – Default Content

    Add that to a shortcode block.

    Hi,

    Sorry, I think that issue was not fully resolved.
    Now, though the GD search is working, the map doesn’t load on the search page and even the view (list, grid) options don’t work.

    Can you please check and support?

    It looks like you are running GD Booster. Try disabling that, it is for GDV1 only.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks, now the search works fine.
    However, the page takes ages to load.
    Once the search button is clicked, it takes 20-30 secs to load the search page and another 15 secs to load the map.

    Can you please suggest the solution for this?

    It was 8 seconds for me, and search very much depends on server resources and the query you are making.
