GD Search not working

    Hi,

    GD search is not working on GD Archive and Search page.
    Write something the “Search for” and “Near” fields. It doesn’t work.

    Now testing V2.0.0.2 on Edge 41.16299.15.0, Chrome Version 64.0.3282.186 (Official Build) (32-bit) & Firefox 59.0.1 (32-bit).

    Hello,

    could you tel us how to recreate this issue?

    When I use a search widget in the sidebar in the content areas I see search results.

    Please note I am not talking about the blog search.
    It works fine, as you said, on the right side bar.

    What I mentioned was searching of Places (gd_places).
    The “GD Search”.

    I can verify this with V2.0.0.2 (not yet updated). If you just enter anything in “Near” (with or without something in “Search for”) I get a blank screen.

    Okay! I updated to V2.0.0.3. I can be a little bit more precise.

    If the search has no result it is not showing the search page. It is showing a blank WP page. It should show the search page and some messages about the result.

    With just the plugin installed (and it also adds a search page) if I hit some results the page is not what I expected. It is not even telling me (yes, the search form is filled) what I have searched and what is the result.
    I think in GDv1 you get some more information on the page.

    The blank page issue has been fixed and will be in the next release.
