Geo Directory Home Map Widget Lost styling after update

Hello there. I am working on a site where the previous developer modified the core geo directory files. Whenever the plugin updates all the changes get lost. I need to know which specific files control the styling and output of the home map widget.

Here is what the modified map looked like before the update

So I need to know what files control this widget and the category icons so I can restore them back to their original condition.

There has been a stylesheet added at /wp-content/themes/GDF_child/css/styles.css which is not part of the normal GDF_child.

If you remove this from that stylesheet, the map legend should return to normal:
