I have searched the forums and can not get an answer on how to do this. I am using Yoast but can;t seem to edit the page “title” of listings.

From what I can see you need to do something on this page
yourdomain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpseo_titles#top#taxonomies
but can not figure out what.

Any help appreciated

Adrian

I actually outputs site_name again when I add that. I do not use “share location” as my directory is nationwide…. but every place listing has a location. Are there any other tags I can use as this would really help my SEO.

Thanks,

Adrian

With GD, if you add %%sep%% in the title of a listing in Glasgow it should output :

In Glasgow, Scotland, United Kindom |

Thx

It seems maybe, using tag %%title%% , which comes as default in yoast, it is only returning the name of the company for %%title%% tag. Does not include location data. Can not figure out what tag to use for location data either. This would really benefit seo, any thoughts would be appreciated.

Adding %%sep%% %%current_location%% to the title just appeands “-” which is my seperator. The location is not working.

Adrian

you should use %%sep%% only, without %%current_location%%.

Please provide a link and wp admin credentials so that we can check.

We double check on our test sites and we can confirm that it works.

Thx

%%sep%% only outputs the choosed sepertor… which I would expect, no? So it’s not working for me. Posting credentials privately now
