how do i put elements next to the details slider?

I copied and edited a custom function and so far im only able to get it to display above or below the details slider.

ps ive resized the sider to the left.

the layout im tryingg to achieve is simple ,slider left, company info and stars right
map below and reviews below map

Hi,

the slider is taking up all the available space. To add something there, you have to start reducing the slider size, or increase the container size depending on what you have in mind.

ive already resized the slider using

.geodir_flex-container {
  max-width: 456px;
}

HI,

1st of all make sure to remove the id=”content” from the div containing that field. There can be only 1 element with that ID on the page.

Add float:left to the css used to reduce the slider.

.geodir_flex-container {
    float: left;
    max-width: 456px;
}

That will make the line go up next to the slider.

Than you can add this css to bring the map back down:

#catcher_detail_page_map_canvas2 {
    clear: both;
}

float causes a tiny display issue, only one part of the container loads. either the carousel or the slider , rarely both.
ive tested this out over multiple browsers of a week and still cant figure it out.

Have you tried removing that css to see if it loads properly?

I’m not sure that is the actual problem.
