How could i change the text that is in the search box by default from Search For and Near to Keyword and Location.
2. Can those 2 boxes be placed on 2 different lines underneath the map instead of on one line.
3.How big is the radius from the place searched and how can that be changed in the front or backend.

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#search

2. Add to your CSS something like this:

.geodir_full_page .geodir-search input[type="text"] {width: 100%;}

Without seeing the site that is the best I can do.

3. GD > General > Search
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#search

Look again: GD > design > Search tab > then scroll down to “Search form default text settings”. Let me know.

Thank you.

.geodir_advance_search.geodir_custom_posts .geodir_full_page .geodir-search input[type="text"] {width: 100%;}
.near-compass {margin-top: 99px;}

If that does not work, I’ll need your login details.

Re the radius, if for example you set that field to 40 miles, that will limit the search are to 40 square miles, so actually the radius is only about 6.5 miles.
A radius of 40 miles would give you an area of 250 square miles.

The only problem seems to be that now, if I put a search in for ‘Melbourne’ (meaning Melbourne, Australia), it comes up with accommodation near ‘Melbourne’ in the USA.

If I change location to Australia, it still comes up with very random listings….., the top one being a property in Tasmania which is over 15,000km from Melbourne, Australia – not any of my Melbourne, Victoria, Australia listings…..
