My site has a valid Google Maps API link, and the home page has a

    Oops! Something went wrong.
This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.

I’ve done the full installation of the google API twice, and am getting the same result both ways.

Help! I really want to use the professional version of your system.

I’m getting the exact same results with the exact scenario. I installed the API twice. I have a separate ticket open myself. I think there is an issue with the plugin.

I can give you access if you think looking behind the scenes is necessary.

    Hi Rob,

You’re getting “RefererNotAllowedMapError” https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#referer-not-allowed-map-error . Could you please generate a new Google API key as mentioned here https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/

We would be happy to take a look at your settings to see if we can find the problem, but in the case of the API keys we won’t be able to access the third party configuration inside the developer console.

Please be sure to use the “Generate API Key” button inside GD when getting a new key, and skip the security settings as there may be an issue with how you are configuring it.

Instead, once you generate a new project and key, take a picture of the settings and attach it to a reply here so we can see those settings.

You should use the Generate button because GD is trying to make the key in a specific way.

Please also include WP Admin access in a private reply.

I’ve already done all of this, and I’ll do it again for a 4th time for you. I’ll send screenshots of each and every step so you see that I’m following your exact specifications.

    OK

and for what it’s worth, your map is loading now and doesn’t seem to have any Google console errors.

I’m not sure what you guys fixed on your end, and thank you for doing so. Now I’m wrestling with the various features. Cool looking product here. I hope it works for the long run. I’ve got quite a few plans I’d like to execute on.
