I’d love to use a simple button that links to the listings of a logged in person.
Your widget is nice – but may partner doesn’t like the look of it, so we’d like to do that with a normal button.
I see that the link is dynamically generated, with the name of the logged in person being part of it.
Is it possible to write this link with some kind of placeholder, that get’s the name of the logged ins person somehow and links to the right posts?

Thanks,
Tom

A URL would be helpful.

So if I understand you correctly, you want the heading of that widget to say something like “Welcome Username” when logged in, instead of just My Dashboard.

Custom widget sound great – something new to learn.

I do not understand what you mean with changing the CSS. The link that is behind the button has to be different for every user that is logged in – because the username is in the URL: http://www.sitename.com/author/username/?geodir_dashbord=true&stype=gd_place

So how can I get the username dynamically inserted into the link? Can I put soe kind of placeholder there?

Thanks,
Tom

The url of the link will not change at all, only the look of the button will change.

You seem to be using 2 different registration processes, so I suggest you look at this article:
