I did not have any custom fields just the default. Also, I can cannot select a country when I try to add a new location. Is there a way to reset the plugin?

What do you mean by “My events still do not have any fields”, because I see everything here: http://yoursite.com/test/events/canada/alberta/red-deer/festivals/revolutionary-germantown-festival/

And I explained you why events are returning no results. You are filtering by today and you ahve no events for today. You should filter by upcoming.
