also, per one of the posts I just came across, it mentioned disabling Google map scripts in my Avada theme due to a conflict in being able to click on the map markers. Is this OK?

Dummy data has been removed from within the plugin to reduce its size.

We will release an addon to make sure Avada and GD will play nicely together beginning of next week.

AVADA gives me so many options on styling, I wonder if it’s in there?

Avada will not give you styling opyions for anything added by a plugin unless it is flagged as compatible by the theme author.

the default google map marker is H:20px W:34px.

In the demo we use custom markers that are a bit bigger: http://wptry.it/try-geodirectory/wp-content/uploads/sites/16/2014/12/Attractions.png H:36px W:45px.

However you can use more or less any size, just don’t make them too big…
