Could you help about how to display the categories in the menu?
I followed the tutorial installation, but after that menu was not appearing.

I added menu my self creating a main menu via appearance. But now
in that menu I’ve only see “Places”.

With GeoTheme I could have menu like this
Restaurant > Asian > Sushi
Restaurant > Asian > Chineese
etc…

Do you know how can I add categ and sub categ to the menu

Yes Guust is right. You can included only custom post types in the menu using geodirectory settings, for the rest of things u have to use wordpress menu manager to build your own custom menus.
