I have been using Web 2.0 Directory plugin for WordPress and need to move the directory content to your platform..

1. Have a look at how to import your listings at http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/core-export

2. You can change the width of the slider container I guess, but users tend to upload all shapes and sizes of images, so it might not always work as you expect.
